The Total Outfit

2 May 2009 at 2:05 am 3 comments

Silver River Metal of the Wear It Out Market at 1000 Markets, recently gathered pictures from market members’ sites and put them together to make a total outfit.  You can read more about the project and identify the makers of these wonderful wearable art pieces at the Wear It Out Market blog.

I’ve also put a total outfit together with items from Wear It Out members:

top by Dye Diana Dyehandmade
skirt by Vigilante Laboratories
cork wristlet by Cork & Cotton
scarf by Althea Peregrine
cuff bracelet by Lavender Cottage
leather booties are by The Pila Shoppe, and are actually for babies, but I thought they were so wonderful, I included them here anyway!

Surf around all the markets and see lots of stunning items from talented craftspeople and artists in the handmade movement.  Why get malled?

Mmmmm.. Great outfit. Those pieces would look awesome with my skirt. Love the top and the shoes especially.
