Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  It seems every woman is touched by this insidious disease, at least by knowing someone who’s been touched by it.  Actually “touched by it” hardly does justice — I think it’s more like “attacked by it.”

treasury10-14 This is a Treasury I had on Etsy in honor of the artists who are donating proceeds of sales to breast cancer research this month.  The treasury has expired, but if you click on the picture, you’ll be led to a list of Etsy sellers who are donating to various breast cancer foundations and organizations.

handmade copy Please take a look.  Just think, you can honor your sisters who suffer from breast cancer, honor artists in the “Buy Handmade” movement and shop all at once!  Wow!  Won’t it feel great to know that your Christmas gift is also benefiting women around the world?

I’m sorry I missed that treasury. It’s beautiful. Thanks for sharing it on your blog. I’m glad to see so many of us are helping with this cause.
