Worldwide Women Artists Online

16 October 2008 at 10:22 am 3 comments

redlady I’m a fairly recent member of WWAO, an international collective of women artists showing and selling original art through the worldwide web.  “As women artists, we give birth to our ideas in a variety of styles and media.  We embrace the diversity of each other’s work, celebrate the joy of creating our art and sharing it with the world,” the charter states.  The WWAO blog does a great job of highlighting members’ work.  I really appreciate the forum, in which women mentor newer artists and share information of all kinds, from materials questions to chocolate advice.

One of the movers and shakers of this group is Sharon Shubert from redladyarts and redladyarts.Etsy.  She just started a showcase of WWAO member artists’ work for Christmas shopping on her web site, and also keeps a blog.  It will be worth your while to bookmark this page, since she’s doing updates each day.   Sharon is successful in quite a number of different media and is a member of The International Collage Group of New Zealand.   Thank you, Sharon, for promoting Worldwide Women Artists!

Saying that Sharon is a mover and shaker is right on the money. This lady has the best ideas and is such a sweet heart.
